no
What is your vision for yourself in powerlifting? For the
sport itself?
to help the sport get better internet media coverage
allowing people to see the physical and mental benefits of
weight training
What are your primary goals in and aside from
powerlifting?
using weight training techniques to help rodeomuscle.com
athletes get better rodeo scores and prevent injuries as
well as assist with re-cooperating in event of injury as
powerlifters and weight trainers have been proven to recover
much faster than those who do not workout on a regular basis
What would you like to share about your family?
great support
How do you maintain discipline?
trying to emulate the champions I see around me and
achieve the great level of strength and mental concentration
they have achieved
Why do you choose to be drug-free?
the two reasons anyone weight trains is to get stronger
and/or increase their ability to protect themselves and
loved ones... yet drug use almost always ends up destroying
the body through cancer or other means so it seems foolish
to do something which will in the end destroy the very
reason for training in the first place.
How did you get interested in powerlifting?
While spotting at an event for RodeoMuscle.com last year
How much were your lifts when you began?
around 120
Do you train alone or with partners?
partners whenever possible
What's a normal workout for you?
5 routines per day for each muscle group
How many days per week do you train? For how long?
4 times around 2 hours each
Where do you train?
Beyond Fitness in Raleigh and Rescue Station in Virginia
Beach
What is your favorite powerlifting event? Training
exercise?
Bench Press, over head tricep extension with curl bar
What is your least favorite powerlifting event? Training
exercise?
rather not say, some of my friends might not find it
very nice :)
How do you mentally and physically prepare for a meet?
just training hard with my partner
What is your favorite food?
Watermelon for energy and Chicken for protein
Do you have a favorite quote or saying?
its not the size of the dog in the fight, but the fight
in the dog! |
